This has been one hell of a week. The Senior Art Exhibition on campus was today and was quite successful. The gallery was as packed as I've ever seen it; quite impressive. But I got claustrophobic quickly and with that came exhaustion. So, I'm glad it's over. Aside from the opening, this week included everything that went into the gallery. I was assembling my portfolio, making business cards, writing an artist statement, wrestling down to the last minute with prices, and polishing my resume, not to mention all the work that went into assembling and hanging all my prints.
Needless to say, I'm exhausted. And I could really use one of these puppies right now.
Alas, I'm on duty (I'm an RA here at school) so no drinking for me tonight. Guinness isn't quite as good in the states anyway...
