Blue Sky Over Chief's Silos | 12:48AM May 23, 2008

I originally started the post processing on this guy in hopes to achieve a similar color scheme to some of my other panoramas such as "State of Montana Property." Somewhere along the process, however, I mistakenly changed the hue. At that point, I just went with it. I like the way it turned out; I think it communicates the gloomy tone of the day (lots of rain in Northcentral Montana today).

I have no idea whose silos these are. I named them "Chief's" because that was the name on the back side of one of the tin-looking buildings. They are located somewhere between Havre and Big Sandy, MT. Rhonda, Megan, and I took a trip up there today to pick up my fellow-middle-child brother, Spenser, from the train station. It wasn't a great day for shooting by any means, but I think a few of these turned out well. More to come tomorrow...
