I did a series of portraits for a project last semester, so I thought I'd post a few of those. This one is of my roommate John.
John loves being American; the man bleeds red, white, and blue as much as anyone I've known. That and his being a die-hard Republican makes for some interesting conversations.
I tried to pull the emphasis off John in this one and focus more on the flag. Something's missing though; I'm not sure if I cropped it in too tight or should have had John facing the camera, but something's just not right. Any thoughts?
